GeekyPrep started with a discussion between two Software Engineers about the problems being faced by Engineers while preparing for technical interviews. Their biggest problem being that there is no concentrated source of interview preparation where they can prepare,learn and keep a track of their progress,strengths and weaknesses. Though there is a lot of information on the internet, most of it is unorganized,incomplete and distorted. Also there are very limited sources for logical/programming puzzles and the HR questions of the company. Since many candidates are not prepared for all types of questions, they fail miserably and hence are not hired ,in spite of being technically fit for the role.
Recruiters face the problem of fake candidate profiles and fake skills on resumes on a regular basis. Many candidates write skills they don't possess in their resume which wastes a lot of time of the recruiters and interviewers.
At GeekyPrep, we are redesigning the whole interview preparation experience to help those who are working hard to get into the best Companies around the globe. We are striving to make interview preparation more fun and engaging than ever.
For recruiters, the candidates are screened by the tests on GeekyPrep across various skills and programming languages. Hence they are gauged on actual skills rather than what is written on the resume. Contacts of the interested good performing profiles are then sent to recruiters and HRs depending on their required skill set.
GeekyPrep founders are BITS Pilani alumnus, ex-Amazon, ex-Akamai with lot of experience in both interviewing and being interviewed by several top notch companies(both product based and service based) across many domains.
